Boot shoes are the key item of footwear to be seen in when the weather turns colder. Boots are great because they not only keep your feet warm but they cover some of the legs as well giving ultimate warmth. Here is a look at some of the different types of boots available this winter:

Ankle Boots - as the name suggests this type of boot covers the ankle. There are many different styles and variations of this ankle boot and from many different brands such as Miss Sixty, Firetrap, Logo 69 and that's just to name a few. Ankle boots look great with skinny jeans or trousers; they give you the height from the heel, warmth because they cover the whole foot, and style.

Knee Length Boots - this type of boot of course ends at your knee or sometimes a little below the knee. They come available in all different colours such as black, brown, light tan, red, burgundy, grey, patterned, and white. Materials used usually include suede, leather, and plastic. Knee length boots has the added bonus of keeping more of your leg warm while still looking great and funky. Cowboy boots are generally knee length boots and these look fantastic with skirts and dresses, a great winter alternative to heels and stilettos.

Boot Shoes

Ugg Boots - this type of boot is very popular and in at the moment. They are woolen boots that can either be worn high up on the knee or folded over to just above the ankle. The great thing about these boots is that they are light and easy to wear but they give ultimate warmth because they are made from wool. These boots look great with jeans, skirts, or simply in your slacks when nipping to the shops.

Men's Boots -Men have their own range of boots to choose from. These can be worn with a nice pair of jeans for casual wear or with trousers for work. Men's boots generally do not cover the leg to the knee; they are a little higher than the average height of the male shoe, covering the ankle to give an idea. Available in a range of styles and colours, guys will be able to look stylish and fashionable no matter what boot they go for.
